First bits of every month Dec. 10th, 2009 @ 09:45 am
It's that time of the year again! First few LJ sentences from every month, 2009!

January: Happy New Year from The Trapp Family Lodge in VT! Graham, Agatha and I ran to the main lodge and watched fireworks in 0 degree weather! Now we're wired.

February: February is my least favorite month. So much winter... Not close enough to spring! This week has been relatively uneventful. Got out early from work on Wednesday because of the ice, even though it wasn't icy. Went to work on Thursday even though it was icy as hell. It took me 20 minutes to walk there. It usually takes me 8.

March: Today I'm going to curl up, read, drink tea and perhaps make some brownies. So excited. The weekend was very relaxed. Hung out with Anne on Saturday and went to the gourmet desert restaurant Finale in Cambridge. I got the chance to eat a lot of high quality chocolate, so I enjoyed myself thoroughly.

April: Lazy bullet points

*I'm 23 years old now!

*I officially sent off my enrollment acceptance to Lesley University!

*Agatha's here getting computer help from Graham

*Hopefully getting together with Alix and Kim Saturday night. Plans are in progress.

*Working from 8am to 6pm tomorrow. Long. Ass. Day.

*LOST is driving me carazay!

May: Tired, but can't sleep. Graham's out with his Newton friends for the night. I babysat Bear for half the day. She's a cutie. Jess will be back in MA tomorrow. Her and Zac called it quits, and its heartbreaking to know the 2 year relationship is gone. I thought, when she moved, that he was really it for her... I can't imagine what she's going through. :(

June: Earthfest in Boston on Saturday. Met up with Joey and Rich, and had a beautiful afternoon by the Charles. Free samples, live music, hippies, good conversation, good weather. It was exactly the kind of Saturday I needed.

July: Updating from Stowe, VT. Sharon, Graham Mr. S and I are staying at Sue's townhouse for the long weekend. I'm waiting for everyone to shower after a 4 mile uphill hike...The most intense exercise I've done in awhile!

August: Friday: Went to Graham's grandparents' house Friday, and spent the night visiting with them and a couple of their friends.
Saturday:

*we ate a delicious breakfast before spending hours at the beautiful Dowses beach. The water was perfect.

*We topped off our beach trip by getting Four Seas ice cream cones.

*That afternoon, we relaxed and had dinner with Graham's family.

September: On Saturday, Graham and I had breakfast with Ryan for his 19th birthday. He's doing okay. Still with his band, making money through gigs. He's also going to try out community college this semester

October: Long weekend ahead, but it doesn't feel that way. So much homework...Sushi and Zombieland with Alix-ar tonight. Folk festival Sunday.

November: So I said no to Halloween parties to do homework. The amount of homework I've done this weekend? NONE. Which is terrible, but at least the weekend was relaxing. The weather was warm and windy yesterday. Perfect for Halloween. Despite this, we barely got any Trick or Treaters, but that was okay. Graham and I were too busy pigging out on candy and watching a bunch of Hulu. :)

December: Graham's out having fun for Tom's birthday, and I'm stuck here organizing notes from class. Bummerrrrr.

Dec. 6th, 2009 @ 09:58 am
My ivory wedding sandals: $39.99! Woot! That's right world, I just bought my entire wedding outfit for $89.98! Take THAT! Take it!

Boy, I love saving money.

Went out with Alix-Ar last night. Sushi + movies + good conversation + too much chocolate + first snow of the season equaled a pretty good time. 2012 is a meh movie, but visually interesting. I mean, you could just put it on mute and watch all the slow-mo destruction.

Alix is all applied to grad schools, and I am so excited for her!

Going to the Lesley library this afternoon to get stuff done. The end of the semester is near though...I can smell it.

The library doesn't open until 2pm... So until then I will eat, organize and cuddle with Graham.

It has to be a good sign that we are still so very passionate about each other after 3 1/2 years. <3

Dear Livejournal.

I love you. Last night, our class did a writing exercise about our earliest memories. Everyone joked about having only flashes of memories for most of our childhoods. My teacher told us that we're in our 40's, our 20's will be one big blur, too.

I hardly ever write anything deep or meaningful, but your the ONLY source of chronological life events that I have. You will be poorly written and shallow, but I will keep you forever and ever.

Or until the site goes down.

Sincerely,

Me.

Cold, cold Tuesday. Dec. 1st, 2009 @ 10:11 pm

Woohoo mini vacation! Nov. 25th, 2009 @ 07:59 am
It's so nice to get up and not have to be anywhere! Sure, I still have homework, but I'm so excited I'm going to have TIME to do it this weekend!

It's so lame that my body is all sore, bloated and general time-of-the-monthy. Yesterday, my teacher read a sad children's book, about someone saying goodbye to their grandparent for the last time, and I had to bite my lip to stop myself from crying. Hormones be crazy.

________

Thanksgiving Meme, stolen from Katie!

1. Which do you like better: hosting Thanksgiving at your home, or going elsewhere?
I'm still young enough to be expected to go elsewhere! So I do!

2. Do you buy a fresh or frozen turkey? Organic? Free-range?
No Turkey! Graham and I are vegetarians!

3. Do you prefer stuffing or dressing? What kind?
I like veg stuffing.

4. Sweet potato pie or Pumpkin pie?
Pumpkin, hands down.

5. Are leftovers a blessing or a curse?
Blessing for me, because I'm always a guest!

6. What side dishes are a must-have in your family?
I don't see my original family for the holidays. Graham's family has a homemade "hard sauce" tradition. It's supposed to be like icing, except it's probably worse for you.

7. What do you wish you had that might make Thanksgiving easier?
A muumuu so my pants are never tight, and I can just keep eating! :)

8. If/when you go to someone else’s house for the holiday, do you usually bring a dish?
Graham and I usually make soup, but this year we're not bringing anything.

9. What do you wish one of your guests would bring to your house?
I don't host Thanksgiving but anyone can bring me chocolate anytime.

10. What do you wish one of your guests would NOT bring to your house?
Uh... Drama?

11. Do you stick with a particular menu from year to year, or do you mix it up?
I eat whatever vegetarian stuff is put in front of me!

12. Is Thanksgiving a religious or secular holiday in your home?
Since when was Thanksgiving EVER religious?!?!

13. Share one Thanksgiving tradition.
Me going over someone else's house, acting awkward, and eating their food.

14. Share one Thanksgiving memory.
Back in '04, I had Thanksgiving with Kim, and we did the whole Black Friday thing. We called ourselves DAT team (Day After Thanksgiving). It was amazing. How the hell was that 5 years ago!?

15. Name five things you’re thankful for.
Graham

The fact that I'm able to go to grad school.

» Bored at work
At work, and I don't want to be here. Oh, only 4 more hours until the end in sight. Have to explain to my teacher that my assignment isn't done tonight... I was planning on doing it yesterday, but the 4th graders had an unconventional day. I think she'll be nice about it. It's such a shame that so much depends on teachers' moods.

In 8 hours, I will go home and relax. Tomorrow, I head to the cape for the rest of the weekend. It'll be nice to get away.

Went out for Brunch with Anne this morning, before we both go away for the long weekend. I'll probably be stuffed all day.
» Work. homework. Class. Observation hours. Rinse. Repeat.
Finished up a 14 page paper this weekend and dropped it off at my professor's house. I was very, very happy... Until I realized how much work I still have to do for my other classes.

If this week wasn't going to be stressful enough, the teacher I'm observing asked me if I wanted to take over on Wednesday. I've been asking to have a more hands on role in my pre-prac, so it's sort of my fault... I acted excited in front of her when she suggested it, but I was inwardly freaking out. I don't know why I said yes... I do want experience, I do want a good recommendation... But this week is going to kill me.

I need to try and keep my spirits up. Thanksgiving break is coming up soon, and I can get a lot of stuff done then.

At least I finished Because of Winn Dixie in one hour tonight! I thought it would take me longer, so I'm happily surprised.

Goodbye, February!

MARCH = SPRING.

» AJ is a mixture of Eeyore and Tigger.
Haha, well, I wasn't around MCLA last night, But I want to record this...Because this kind of shit can ONLY happen to AJ.

He comes back from a round with Andy the public safety officer, where he was forced into documenting his ex girlfriend and find his room in a slight shambles. Of course, he flips out, makes sure everything valuable is still there, and finds that really, only a stack of papers were knocked from a desk. Aggravated and tired, the poor kid lays down in his bed. Turns over.

RANDOM NAKED MAN!

He jumps up, immediately goes into the center lounge and tells the people hanging out there about Naked man. Everyone rolled their eyes at him at first, for AJ is prone to stupid exaggerations. But then he practically dragged Michelle in, and she just bursted out laughing.

Thus, many pictures were taken of the stupid drunkard who ended up in the RA's bed. lol.

That's all, but I just found it super hilarious.

As for me, well I had a very good night at Graham's and an even better morning. <3

Right now, I'm off to read more of The Audacity of Hope.

I heart the way I feel about life right now.

And that's in honor of our conversation.

P.S. We are NOT having sex in this classroom.

PENIS ~By Kim.

I want a FAT man, who is really ridiculously nice. If he's a quadra---ya, he must be reallly RICH.

It is acceptable if his nose runs. But NOOOOOO droooling.

By the way, I walked in on a classroom. Hahahahahahaha lol lmao

WTF? WTF?

I will write a more comprehensive post later.

Sorry for the confusion

Much love to all
